The Showcase Exhibition in the beautifully landscaped grounds of The Bield will include examples of work from many of this year’s participating artists, providing a ‘taster’ of the impressive range of Art and Craft work to be seen in the artists’ own venues. Six ‘artists in residence’ will welcome visitors and will be delighted to answer questions about their work.

The Exhibition will include the work of our Featured Artist for this year:  Award winning Photographer Simon Jauncey.

Simon has been a photographer for 30 years in the UK & overseas. He lived for 10 years in Venezuela where he shot cars for Ford, whisky for Johnnie Walker, food for Kraft & many other advertising commissions. Returning to his native Perthshire Simon has photographed many of Scotland’s great houses, castles  and their occupants for guide books & magazines, notably Country Life Magazine & Hello!

With a background in complex advertising imagery & special effects, his personal work has now come full circle, with a return to straightforward portraiture, candid observation & simple, unmanipulated landscapes.

Simon has been selected as a finalist in the 2019 Scottish Portrait Awards.
