POS and the Coronavirus/Covid-19 – some FAQs

Q: Will Perthshire Open Studios be going ahead in September?

A: We will continue to monitor the situation very closely but at the moment, in keeping with current Government guidelines, we are planning for the event to go ahead.

Q: What if the situation deteriorates?

A: We will continue to monitor the guidelines and advice coming from both UK and Scottish Governments and public health sources.  Should the situation get worse, we will take appropriate action and issue appropriate guidance to our members.

Q: Will you be issuing guidance to venues on hygiene practices?

A: Yes, we will ensure that all venues are informed of the up to date guidance from public health sources so that they can take appropriate measures.

Q: If I have to withdraw from Open Studios because of Coronavirus, would I get my membership fee back?

A: Unfortunately we would be unable to refund membership fees if you chose to withdraw from Open Studios because of ill-health or any other reason.

Q: If the event is cancelled, will I get my money back?

A: POS Terms and Conditions do not require us to repay subscriptions in the case of cancellation. However, in the event of a Government directive to cancel the Event this year POS would first need to honour its financial commitments to our contracted partners relative to the stage in the planning process at which the cancellation took place. Any monies remaining would  be used as a compensation fund for members and donors to the Event. (or carried forward for a later staging of the Event.)
