This year’s event is the 10th anniversary of Perthshire Open Studios.
Earlier this year we held a very successful exhibition as part of the Platform week, with around 100 of our members exhibiting. This provided a good taster for the main event, which once again has over 200 artists in 143 studios, workshops and galleries, open to the public, plus our regular showcase exhibition at the The Bield, showing work from artists right across the region.
Choose a route, or a particular form of art that interests you and use the coloured maps and the directory to make the most of the time you have to spend. Cafes and other eating places along the way are highlighted, to help you plan an enjoyable day out in the stunning scenery of Perthshire and Kinross-shire.
We are constantly looking for opportunities to improve the visitor experience and therefore your feedback is important to us. Forms will be available at venues for this purpose so do please to let us know what you think. You can also visit our facebook page to leave comments.
I would like to thank everyone who has helped create this event, in particular the artists and makers themselves, the volunteer committee for their sterling efforts in planning and organising the event and our professional partners who have helped us with the production of such a splendid locally and nationally recognised event. Finally, a huge thank you to our sponsors for their continuing support and generosity.
We look forward to welcoming you to Perthshire’s Art Event of the year!
