Welcome to Perthshire Open Studios, now in our 4th consecutive year.

This event continues to grow as word gets out of how valuable Open Studios are to both Artists and Visitors. This year POS has over 180 artists exhibiting in 122 venues across Perthshire. Nine days for artists to share with you, the visitor, their diverse and creative talent from Paintings, Drawings and Photography to Textiles, Jewellery, Sculptures and Ceramics and much, much more. Some of the art is good enough to eat, and indeed you can - but check with the artist first!!!!!

The Open Studios is a unique opportunity for both established and emerging creative individuals and has shown to bring many benefits to both the contributors and the visitors. Members of the public may not otherwise be aware of the range, quality, and diversity of the creative talent that exists in the Perthshire region and many artists and makers have found the Open Studio a good platform to connect with the public and to gain valuable feedback on their work as well as making sales. As a further source of interaction many artists and makers offer demonstrations and workshops.

We wish to thank both the volunteer committee members and also all the other individuals that have helped make Perthshire Open Studios the hugely successful and now yearly anticipated event that it has become and a huge thank you to you the visitor for supporting the event.

We do hope that you enjoy your visit to Perthshire¡¯s working artists community and please keep this brochure to hand after the event as it is also serves as a guide to the many venues that are open at other times throughout the year.
