Dykends Cottage, Glenisla, By Alyth PH11 8PP A joint father & daughter exhibition. Now retired but formerly Principal Teacher of Art in Blairgowrie, Ian specialises mainly in landscapes using acrylics. Working in vivid colours in an expressive style, he captures the mood of the ever changing Scottish landscape. Jackie also teaches art, working in Kirriemuir. She developed an interest in hat making a few years ago & specialises in both formal traditional hats as well as more ‘quirky’ felt creations. Directions: From Alyth, head north for 10kms up the B954 until the crossroads with the B951. Dykends Cottage is immediately to the right beside a phonebox. Parking available in quarry.
